Moto LAVERDA

A truly legendary marque. A small family firm that fought the biggest industrial groups with exceptional products — and carved its name into the great endurance races.

The Laverda spirit

Character
above all

Laverda was one of the only credible European alternatives, in quality and performance, to the flood of Far-Eastern production in the 1970s — with bikes of unique character and resolutely forward-looking engineering.

It was also the market's very first big-capacity machine, from 1969, with the 1000 triple, later a Production-racing champion. The fastest production motorcycle in the world in 1976 with the 1000 Jota. The only V6-engined endurance racer in 1978. And the most modern 500 on the market from 1976, with four valves per cylinder and a six-speed gearbox.

A singular industrial venture that never sacrificed the character of its machines, nor the quality of its human relationships, on the altar of absolute productivity.
